Where History and Momentum Met
The ACRD 2026 Tech Summit took place at Kimpton Santo San Antonio - Riverwalk, a hotel that pairs a modern downtown tower with the restored 1858 German-English School, one of the oldest gathering places in the city.
More than 13,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor space provided room to gather across two ballrooms, five meeting rooms, and a courtyard shaded by century-old trees. It was a fitting backdrop for two days spent deciding what your firm would build next.

Overview
The ACRD 2026 Tech Summit brought together representatives, attorneys, firm leaders, and technology professionals for two days focused on the future of Social Security disability practice. An inspiring keynote from James Lawrence and sessions on emerging technologies encouraged attendees to consider new possibilities for their organizations and the clients they serve.
Presentations and panel discussions explored how artificial intelligence, medical records access, cybersecurity, and SSA modernization were shaping disability practice. Attendees examined opportunities to strengthen firm operations, support evidence development, and navigate an increasingly technology-driven environment. These conversations connected broader industry changes with the practical questions facing firms and practices.
Beyond the sessions, the summit created opportunities for attendees to exchange ideas, connect with exhibitors, and learn from peers facing similar challenges. Together, the discussions and networking events encouraged a shared focus on navigating change and advancing Social Security disability practice.
